this is an old blimp hanger! how cool is that?? we were driving pretty fast so it was hard getting a good pic of them, but there is this one, and another one close by. they were used back in WWII. i don't know what they're being used for now, but i love that they are still here and haven't been torn down.
marianne and i went hiking this morning with a group through Meet Up. we did a 5 mile trail with some other women and had such a good time. i met some really nice women and we exchanged email address. we're planning to hike Bridge to Nowhere in july and maybe some kayaking this month. i'm glad to have met such nice people who enjoy the outdoors too.
we're off to our usual place for some lunch. i ate a few almonds this morning and that's it. i'm starving. i nibbled on a very stale granola bar, but i think its a little too stale to finish.
