i really like the paintings these ohio plain air artists have done. they're pretty inspiring..

one of these days i'll pull out the oil paints again. i did this little diddy from sitting at the back patio of our unit. we were just starting to get settled in, and one afternoon i was more drawn than usual to the all shadows and light shapes the sun and trees were making on the lawn. i grabbed this 5 x 7 canvas and set up shop out there. i ended up coming in early though cos it was a bit cold for me. its far from anything great, but ya gotta start somewhere right?
