damn.. it's gonna be hot

going to austin in a few days to hang with my dearest cousin, brittney, and of course 4th of july weekend (xavi to come the 3rd). my mom could use an extra hand juggling her already busy schedule. it will be fun to take britt around austin. we'll probably go to barton springs pool, movie at alamo drafthouse, home slice, amy's, jo's, blanton, amoa, mellow johnnys, the drag, bats at the congress bridge.. maybe some blues on the green with abby in tow. the capital, the green belt, pacha, kerby lane, whole foods gelato, waterloo records.. roller derby.. list goes on.

right now the temp in HB is 68.. and overcast. i looked up the temp in austin... the current temp there is 104, and overcast too.. 

katherine, my friend, and children's book author in paris, plans to send some of my book illustrations to a french publisher monday. i have a few more things to do before sending files to katherine in frogland. so far, every thing's looking good. she's happy w/ the ills, i'm happy with the ills too. i did find some water color paper that i prefer over the others, so i guess i'll need to repaint some of the ills on this new watercolor paper eventually. its winsor & newton 140lb hot press. lightly textured.
