game 6 - go cavs!

there was this greeting card i had a few years ago with a little kid covering his eyes, and he was counting to 10, it read, "seven, eight, nine.. ten." and the inside read, "ok you can come back now".. that's how i'm feeling about xavi being out of town. OK, you can come back now !

so i'm really (really) excited about the game 6 tonight. i hope the cavs rock it even tho they'll be away from home. i'd love it if they were in the finals. then i could root for them and honestly want them to win, instead of cheering on the lakers just cos i'm a cali-girl now..  

my aunt told me about 'meet up' online. it looks like a good place to find people with similar interests to me.. they have some life drawing session groups in long beach, and LA, but i think LA might be too far for a week night. i rsvp'd for this one event that is described as being a vendor fair/open house to help people who want to remodel their homes to be more green. xavi and i have discussed ways we want our house home someday to be green, and energy efficient, so i'm gonna check out this event w/ the 'meet up' group tomorrow. see who and what these vendors are all about.
