don't know when i'll be back again..oh babe.. i hate to go.
well, i do hate to leave everything i know here in austin, but cali will be an exciting new experience, right? right. in less than 48 hrs we'll be on the road west. look out west texas. i took my car to the dealership today to get a general checkup. good thing too, she had a leak, but i really can't tell ya more than that. she had some maintenance needs as well, but nothing that can't wait til we get there. luckily the leak was covered under the warranty and all i paid for was an oil change. good deal.
xavi gets in tonight at midnight. the moving van arrives at 8:30 tomorrow morning. and we'll be on the road by 6:00 friday morning. i got to hang out with a few really close friends this week, and that's been awesome. but after we say our goodbyes, i have this empty feeling inside. like i'm saying goodbye before i'm ready to say goodbye. like i want to push the snooze button on our time ending together to squeeze out a few more minutes (or hours) together, but as one friend put it, it's just putting off the inevitable... the final 'so long, goodbye'.
well, time to sneak in a nap!
